The Center for Social and Environmental Stewardship (The Center) is a private nonprofit service corporation, tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  The Center is funded through foundation and corporate grants, government grants and contracts, fee for service contracts, and contributions from individuals.  The development of a diverse funding base has ensured the continued financial stability of the organization.
